Which output formats can I choose?
Choose WebP for a compact result with transparency support, or JPEG for broad photo compatibility. PNG inputs are converted to the selected format.
Will the result always be smaller?
No. Already compressed images may become larger when encoded again. The actual size change is shown for every result. Try lowering the quality setting.
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
WebP preserves transparency. JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
