    Good to know

    What does the Base64 result contain?

    A complete data:image/...;base64,... URL containing the original file bytes. This does not remove EXIF metadata or change the image. SVG must be self-contained.

    Does Base64 make images smaller?

    No. Base64 usually adds about one third to the binary size, plus the data URL prefix. The result shows this increase as negative savings.
